Our fourth event of 2015 was The Department of Mysteries 6.2442!

Why 6.2442? Because if you dial that number on a phone, it spells “MAGIC!” And, 6.2442 miles is just few meters longer than a 10k.

Our charity partner for this event was the Brotherhood Ride, a Florida-based group of firefighters, police officers and EMTs who ride bicycles to honor those who have died in the line of duty. These volunteers ride hundreds of miles on or near the anniversary of the honoree’s ultimate sacrifice to remind the families, friends, and the community of the fallen that they are not forgotten. The result of their rides, and this event, were donations made directly to the families of those who gave their lives to protect the rest of us.

The Department of Mysteries 6.2442 event raised $62,500 for the Brotherhood Ride.
